Make the Art the Star
When you buy a piece of art, you do so because you love the way it looks and it fits your style. Don’t take it to a picture framer and try to match a color in your room. Make sure the art is the star of the frame.
Pick a mat, a frame, a style that fits what the art is about. Accent what makes the art strong. Listen to your framer because they do this day after day and have a strong sense of what makes art stand out. They are also most likely an artist themselves.
